My funniest excuse actually occurred in Star Wars Galaxies as I was talking to my friend over the phone, who was standing beside me in a starport.

Friend: "..."
Me: "Oooh, thunderstorm's coming in. I might get disc..."

Me: "Well, the power just went out. I suppose I'll run over to my house and logout."
Friend: "It says you're already logged out."
Me: "Huh?"

I try to ping Yahoo and can't. It's then that I realize in my zeal for UPS power, I had plugged in my computers and monitors in the UPS...and forgot the cable modem.

So yes, I actually can give an excuse about "power just went out" and actually mean it.

School Last Time:"Uhh Teacher, Would You Punish SomeBody For Something They Didnt do?"
Teacher: "No I guess Not"
Me: "Great Because I Didnt Do My Homework."

They Arent Gw Related But I Thought They Were Pretty Funny.

When I was in 5th grade i forgot to do my homework. Luckily, that same night, there was some grease in the oven and it caught on fire (nothing was damaged and noone was hurt). I told the math teacher the next day that didn't do my homework because my house caught on fire.
